Two more third round matches are complete at the ESL One Cologne Main Qualifier after Cloud9 beat TyLoo 16-13 on Cache and EnVyUs defeated Splyce with a 16-4 score.

Cloud9 and TYLOO faced off on Cache and the CT-sided TYLOO secured the pistol round with an A-site retake. The Chinese also shut down the early buy of Cloud9 and went on to extend their lead to 6-0.

Getting bomb plants kept Cloud9's economy alive and the North Americans secured their first round to make it 7-1. Jordan "⁠n0thing⁠" Gilbert & company found the answer to their opponents' aggressive style and picked up three more rounds but TYLOO led 10-5 at halftime.

HaoWen "⁠somebody⁠" Xu's opening kill in the second half's pistol round brought his team another round win and the Chinese made it 13-5 after winning the anti-ecos. Cloud9 picked up the fourth round of the half as their CT-side started to get going.

Two consecutive triple AWP kills by Tyler "⁠Skadoodle⁠" Latham made the score 13-9 and Cloud9 picked up two more rounds after coming on top of after-plant situations. The North Americans kept defusing the bomb and tied it at 13-13. Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip's ace gave Cloud9 the match point and they won it 16-13 in an awe-inspiring comeback.

Timothée "⁠DEVIL⁠" Démolon clutched a 1v2 to open the match between Envy and Splyce and the Frenchmen attained an early 3-0 lead. Splyce grabbed the first weapon round but Envy answered right back to make it 4-1.

Envy' strong CT-side guaranteed them the half victory and they finished the half 12-3. Envy got their second victory in the qualifier after winning the match 16-4.
