ESL Barcelona Invitational taking place in Hall 2 of Fira Barcelona Montjuic kicks off tomorrow, which means it's time for us to put every piece of information about the event together into the following viewer's guide.
Eight teams have gathered in Barcelona, Spain, to fight for a share of the €75,000 prizepot in a rather peculiar format, which we have already seen before at an IEM stop at gamescom.
The teams will be given three lives at the beginning of the competition, and with every loss in best-of-ones they will lose a life. The first match will be decided via a poll by ESL, while every match afterwards will be decided by the previous match winner.

The matches will start at 09:30 each day, with the first two days featuring eight matches, while up to seven will be played on day three. As usual with ESL events, matches will start as soon as possible after previous ones end.
The German organization's foursome will be taking you through the action on the official English stream, joined by popular duo Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett and Henry "HenryG" Greer, as well as Jason "moses" O'Toole and Janko "YNk" Paunović.
